George Greens Year 8 School Council - Bullying project

Anti Bullying Week

Bullying is a major problem in secondary schools. Many people are affected by bullying; many of them suffer in silence because they believe that the problem will get worse if they tell someone. Wrong! If you do not tell someone about it, it will only get worse.

Tower Hamlets have recently released a new Anti-Bullying Resource Pack, which includes information on the different types of bullying and how you can tackle it. If you would like to get this pack for your class/school please talk to either your teacher or a senior member of staff about it. This guide comes with a lot of information and activities that you will find helpful and useful.

A good idea is to organize these activities with your student council, as they can bring different ideas from all across the school to add to the activities provided in the resource pack. This will in the end, make the activities more enjoyable, and even more useful to you and the rest of your class/school.
