Members
of Bishop Challoner’s students Eco-executive Committee,
training as WWF Ambassadors by presenting their research
and plans to primary
school WWF ambassadors at South Camden City Learning Centre. |
Bishop Challoner students from years 7, 8 and 9 have
formed an Eco-Executive Committee to research sustainability and make
proposals of changes to their school that will make it a sustainable
school. On Wednesday 31st January they met with schools from Southern
England, and live on-line with schools in Manchester. They shared their
research and learnt about different styles of presentation. This training
and work is so that they can act as WWF ambassadors, working with other
local schools to promote sustainability, and running an on-line international
conference in June.
The on-line conference
venue can be found at the website, just scroll down til you get to ‘Doorways to Sustainable Schools’.
You can enter the site and see what is posted in the presentations
area.
