Make It Happen
Tower Hamlets youngsters are being given the chance to make a real
difference to their borough, thanks to the Youth Opportunity Fund.
The Youth Opportunity Fund (YOF) allows 11-19 year-olds to apply
for funding to help start up new activities or make improvements
to the buildings they use in the borough. Local youngsters can
receive between £500 and £5,000 to run activities such
as after-school sports clubs, or between £5,000 and £10,000
to refurbish buildings like their local community centre.
More information about the Youth Opportunity Fund can be found
www.amp.uk.net and application forms will soon be downloadable
to access the funds. A second generic email will be sent to all
contacts, but this is coming to you because of your particular
specialism.
